My Endresen Trio, Fall 2018

Helllooooo! I’m not entirely sure where this fall has gone … October, November, and December should just be considered one month because it feels as if they always go by so, so fast. I hope they’ve been months of abundant joy, wonderful memories, and so much more!

Back in October we booked our favorite family photographer for a mini family session. (The same one who did our AMAZING maternity full family photoshoot.) She had windows of 30-minutes available, so I grabbed one quick because she fills up fast … and Jane (& Jake) lasted about 27 of those 30 minutes. Praise God! It took bribes of Baby Shark on YouTube, singing “If You’re Happy and You Know it!”, and any other tricks we had in the book to capture our sweet girl’s smile.

The very last picture is my forever favorite. It’s so real and so perfect. Thank you so, so much Ashley!

I’m so glad we did this. I want to continue doing it as long as possible. We often get pictures of one of us with Jane, but having the three of us in one picture is so, so precious. I couldn’t be more grateful for the results!

Alllll the photo credit goes to Ashley Allen Photography.

Dark Sweet Cherry Smoothie Bowl

Smoothie or Smoothie Bowl? That seems to be the question these days! If someone were to ask me, I’d say to start my day, I prefer smoothies to drink … I have my Ninja blender set up at work and usually have a smoothie for breakfast about two times a week. However, at night, sitting on the couch watching our countless episodes of ER, I love to pour it in a bowl, add some granola for sweetness, and pretend I’m eating ice cream!

In continuing to pass along my favorite recipes, I wanted to share this one we created! We were walking the aisles of Costco’s freezers (you sometimes never know what’s going to appear) and saw this HUGE bag of frozen dark sweet cherries. Unsure of how it would be, we brought it home, tried a few recipes, and found that a simple banana + almond milk mix up was all we needed … along with some protein powder. Jake prefers it with vanilla protein powder and I’ll always choose chocolate.

Do you have a Ninja blender, too? Don’t forget about Enbizio should any of your blender parts ever need to be replaced! Click here for any replacement piece you may need! They carry replacement parts for several other brands as well! Happy Shopping!

Recipe

1 c Frozen Cherries (Costco freezer!)

1 c Almond Milk

1 frozen Banana

2 Scoops Vanilla Protein (This one’s still our favorite!)

+ Sprinkle of my Favorite Red Mills Granola for smoothie bowls.

+ Fruit of Your Choice!

Excited to hear what y’all think!

XOXO.

Hannah
